SUNGLASSES AND GOGGLES
Most of the ones on this page have some sort of gasket which will keep the wind out of your eyes when you are at higher speeds. This will help to keep your fatigue down as you're travelling at freeway speeds. Get a clear set for night when the sun goes down.

GLOVES
Find a pair of gloves that offer protection in case of a fall. It hasn't happen to me yet but if t did my hands would be safe. A pair that goes past the cuff of your jacket offers the best protection from wind. In hotter weather look for fingerless or vented gloves.

JACKETS
Look for tight fit around the sleeves, neck and waist to keep wind out. Look for ventilation for hotter weather and liners so that it extends use. Other consideration might be padding or inserts to help protect the body.

CHAPS
Although these seem a little strange at first, they are outstanding. They protect your legs from weather, rocks, bugs, and anything else. Look for good fit over jeans. Most can be trimmed and hemmed to length.

HELMETS
If you are going to be wearing helmets get the best possible. It's up to you but there are a number of options from half helmets to full helmets. Look for DOT approval and ventilation options.
